Ingredients

• Hydroquinone (4% w/w):A skin-lightening agent that reduces melanin production, helping to lighten dark patches and hyperpigmentation.

Usage

• Application Frequency:
  • Apply once daily, preferably in the evening or as directed by your physician.
• Preparation:
  • Cleanse the affected area with a mild soap and pat dry thoroughly.
• Application:
  • Take a small amount of the cream.
  • Apply a thin layer evenly over the affected areas of the skin.
  • Gently massage until fully absorbed.
• Post-Application:
  • Wash hands thoroughly after application to prevent unintentional lightening of other skin areas.
• Sun Protection:
  • Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen and protective clothing when exposed to sunlight, as the cream can increase skin sensitivity to UV radiation.
• Duration of Use:
  • Continue treatment as prescribed by your physician.
  • If no improvement is observed after 2 months, consult your doctor for further evaluation.
• Missed Dose:
  • If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember.
  • If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.
  • Do not apply extra cream to make up for a missed dose.

Precautions

• External Use Only: Apply the cream only to the skin. Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, mouth, and nose. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Sun Sensitivity: Hydroquinone can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors to prevent sunburn and further pigmentation.
• Avoid Irritated Skin: Do not apply the cream to sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, or irritated skin. Wait until the skin has healed before using the product.
• Allergic Reactions: Before full application, perform a patch test by applying a small amount to an unbroken area of skin. If you experience itching, redness, swelling, or blistering, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
• Limit Use of Certain Products: While using this cream, avoid products containing large amounts of alcohol (such as astringents, shaving creams, or after-shave lotions), hair removal products, and products containing lime or spices, as they may cause irritation.
• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before using this cream if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• Age Restriction: Melalite Forte Cream is not recommended for children below 12 years of age.
• Report Side Effects: Common side effects may include dry skin, redness, burning sensation, mild itching, and irritation. If these persist or worsen, consult your physician.
